And she’s off…
Parker has been such a trooper with her cast these past four weeks. She has rarely complained and even played soccer with it! Last week started getting a little harder because it was so very hot.
Thankfully, she got a new waterproof cast this week and has pretty much stayed wet since then!
Yesterday, we went to the splash park close to our house. Bradley, who scooted his way through it last year, with no fear, was scared to death of the spraying water this year! I even tried to get him to go in, which is saying a lot, but he was not having it. Shocked, I must say.
Today, we went to the pool with my sister and it was fantastic. Bradley was a little slow getting in and in all honestly, was not happy at all about wearing arm floaties, but he was diving everywhere by the time we left. He was getting really good at holding his head up. I was in the water pretty much the whole time, until the end, when I paid my niece a few bucks to entertain him! (mother of the year, I am) He is truly exhausting, usually in a good way. I really think my arms are going to be soar from all the throwing and lifting of his 36 lbs.
The girls did great and picked right back up on swimming.
We even got some Father’s Day shopping done. Emery spilled the beans to her daddy at dinner about his present. So, if you see him in his new Teva leather flip flops, they came from us!
