Shopping Extravaganza

Yesterday, I trekked out with 2 of my gal pals to do a little retail therapy!
We are getting our wardrobes ready for our cruise!!
Also, we are going on our family vacation soon and I needed some things, as well.

We had much success, I must say! I am all about the bargain, which is somewhat of a huge mind game with me. I would rather a lot of things that do not cost a whole lot, than a few expensive things. It hurts me to spend a lot of money on clothes, but I love to dress, you know, cute.

Last year, one of our students, said to me, “You dress plain. Everything you wear is solid colors!”

It’s called CLASSIC, not plain.
Or, TIMELESS, not old.

I will admit I do like a great fitted t from the GAP! Solid, of course.

ANYWAYS, back to our trip.

I ended up with the following:
A bathing suit- the dreaded shopping purchase of the year.
A bluejean skirt
A pair of Bermuda shorts
An Ann Taylor silky, dress shirt for $10. $10 people!! It will look fabulous with a pair of black pants.
A Banana Republic blue sleeveless sweater for $4.99. Yes, you read that right, $4.99!!
A cute polka dot shirt
A khaki shirt from GAP for $4.97. You have to buy it even if you don’t need it, when it only cost $4.97!

I am planning the outfits in my head!!

I am all about the skirt in the summer, so I am excited.

I felt it was my duty as an official bargain shopper to post about my great deals!
Good shopping to you all!

Jason- I think I spent the least, so feel free to brag to the other husbands!!!

Ok, Kelly. I’m tagging you for the mall meme. I only tagged two at first and I was supposed to tag six. I didn’t realize that you enjoy shopping…so, you’re it!

Did you say cruise? I am turning a nice shade of green.

How fun for ya’ll! Definitely need new clothes for that. I am with you on needing the bargain. It’s not fun without finding the “steal” deals.

Wow! You got some really great bargains! You’re my kind of shopper. Have fun on your cruise! We went on our first one last month for our 10 year anniversary and it was quite wonderful! The key question, though, is are you getting to cruise without the kiddos???

Oh I think bargin shopping is much like how men love to hunt. I love to find the greatest deal. It is a high for me.
Ok so I tagged you but I did know you had already been tagged so you really must do it because you have been double tagged.

I’ve never been on a cruise, but anything sounds wonderful right now!
I love the GAP too. I think we all dress in the inevitable “Mom-solid t-shirt” wear.
