Where go?

This is what Bradley ask us this evening when he noticed the big tall tree in the corner is no longer in our living room!

On a more serious note- Jason has ruptured his achilles and will be having surgery Wednesday. He will be in a cast for 2-3 weeks and will be in physical therapy for 2-3 months, several times a week. The doctor informed us it takes about 9 months for full recovery, which is with 90% strength. Since it is his right foot, he will not be driving for about 6 weeks. He insists he can drive to and from church with his left foot, but I am not so sure!

Please pray for our family as we adjust for the short term logistics of having one parent on crutches, unable to drive or carry children! We are praying for quicker than normal healing, full strength and a lot of patience through the pain of rehab. We are so blessed with a great support network and I have no doubt we will be calling in some favors.

Also, please pray for me as I take on many things that Jason normally does. I know I will be a pale substitute, but hey, the trash has to be taken out and Parker taken to school! I am praying for my attitude and actions to be pleasing to Christ and my family, during this recovery!
Blessings!

I will pray for you, Kelly! Eric did the same thing, but in the spring – right when our grass began to grow. So, I had to mow the yard all summer – yuck! I know you will need extra grace to get through, so that’s what I will pray for you!

I’m sorry about Jason! I will pray he heals up quickly and you survive in the meantime! Not just survive, but rejoice while doing everything that has to be done.
